Cabinet Vision Minimum System Requirements

Operating System

Professional levels of Microsoft® Windows® 11 or Windows® 10.

Cabinet Vision will install and run on the 'Home' editions of the above operating systems. However, this is not recommended and we cannot guarantee to fix any Cabinet Vision issues specifically related to these editions of the Windows operating systems.

Network Installation
Cabinet Vision will install and run on all Windows Server editions that are currently supported by Microsoft® including Microsoft® Terminal Services.

It is also recommended to use gigabit Ethernet switches with Category 5e/6 cables to get best network performance.

Intel Pentium 4 processor (2 GHz or faster), Intel Xeon, Intel Core, AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, AMD Phenom or later, in single, dual or quad core versions

8GB RAM (16GB or more highly recommended)

Video Card
OpenGL® compatible with 2GB on-board memory (4GB or more recommended)

*NOTE: We are currently experiencing issues with AMD's latest video drivers so avoiding AMD cards with a new computer purchase is recommended at this time.

1920x1080 resolution (or higher resolution recommended)

Note: With high-resolution monitors entering the market, similar to 4k and 5k, you may find windows changes your scaling settings. Cabinet Vision was built with no scaling options. If you experience slowness or the mouse pointer is not in sync with what you are clicking on, please change Windows settings back to 100% or contact us for another solution.

USB 1.1 or higher port for single user security key support (Not required for Keyless licenses)

Internet Access
Cabinet Vision requires Internet Access in order to maintain an active license. Disconnection from the Internet for longer than 90 days will require a connection to the Internet in order to reactivate the license.
